DescriptionBlack print on green paper of an abstracted figure. The figure has a semi-circle head, a thin neck, and a wide then skinny torso where two breasts are outlined in the black form, a ballooned right shoulder, and two legs set in a stance where the right is in front of the left. The figure is reaching out with both arms into what seems like a doorway created by two vertical lines. While the arms/hands of the figure cannot be seen past the lines, the figure's right foot which extends into the doorway, appears on the other side but is not filled in black like the rest of the figure. Coming from the vertical lines is a singular leg that crosses paths with the right leg of the main figure.Exhibition History"French Prints from the Tobin Sparling Collection," The Hyde Collection, Hoopes Gallery, Feb. 14-July 26, 2026.ProvenanceGaleria Central de Arte Moderno Misrachi, Mexico City.
