DescriptionPencil and charcoal drawing of a seated female nude with white chalk highlighting. The figure with long, dark hair sits with her left leg folded and tucked under her right knee, her right elbow rests on what appears to be the back of a draped sofa or bench and her head is tipped to her left. The drawing is quite highly finished but leaves the right foot only roughly sketched. The left arm has is outlined but may be partially wrapped in a drape or purposely undelineated. There is a light red line in what appears to be pencil or crayon along the right edge of the drawing adjacent to and partially hidden by the mat.
Modern, narrow, gilt, molded wood frame with beaded edges. Natural linen mat.
