DescriptionA print of a pencil and black and brown ink drawing with a light pink wash ground. Two figures, somewhat abstract, probably both female acrobats, in a pose that appears to be a precursor to a lift or other acrobatic effort. Each reaches toward the other and it appears that they are clasping hands or holding something between them. The legs of both are in motion, each putting their weight on their left foot. The right hand figure's right leg is bent at the knee as if running with the bottom of the foot visible. The foot of the left hand figure is a blur at the edge of the image.

The printing process is marked by a strong pattern, visible with a loupe, of circles of dots forming a cell-like structure.

Narrow oak or ash plain beveled frame, looks like it was treated to make the grain more prominent, dark stain rubbed on then wipe off leaving lighter areas.
