DescriptionPainted with many rubbed and scraped layers and with overlapping images that create the illusion of a Cubist collage. Primarily yellow and buff on a ground of two shades of brown with accents in a brick red (once perhaps closer to burgundy?), sky blue, blue-green, olive drab and black. On top of the final paint layer there are very fine graphite lines, some creating the outlines of elements of wine glasses and a mug with large handle

Framed and glazed. A flat, box-like natural mahogany frame possibly original to the work.
