DescriptionHilly, snowy landscape with an orchard and a large, multi-towered brick church at the top center. In the foreground there is a pencil drawing of a train (possibly an incomplete sketch, it is drawn in, but not colored) on tracks that parallel a body of water, probably the Hudson River, given the location of title city, Schnectady. A long plume of steam/smoke from the locomotive forms a large arc across the image, echoing the shape of the hills.Exhibition History"Dorothy Dehner at the Hyde", Hoopes Gallery, The Hyde Collection, January 27, 2013 - April 14, 2013."Women Modernists".
