DescriptionChecklist of works exhibited by Denis in 1893 with the list of 11 items drawn in the stone along with an image above and alongside the titles. The image is of two women carrying baskets on their heads and walking under tree branches. This may be an oblique reference to the painting on the list titled "Procession sous les arbres," however that painting is very different from the imagery seen in this print. "Procession sous les arbres" is a large canvas with women dressed in long, white head and body garments walking though a grove of trees with tall, elongated, green trunks, towards an angel. It is in the collection of the Musée D'Orsay. The titles of the works listed on this 'checklist' are as follows:
I. Sancta Maria
II. Le Martyr
III. Visitation
IV. Suzanne
V. L'Enfant au fouet
VI. Luitte de Jacob avec l'Auge
VII. Legende de chevalerie
VIII. Procession sous les arbes
IX. Les deux femmes et l'enfant
X. Lithographie sur Pelleas et Mélisande
